Llangennech RFC

Last week Ben spoke to me at the cricket and asked if I’d be interested in photographing the rugby and I’m pleased to say that I’ll now be covering Llangennech home games in the WRU Admiral Premiership this season.

I do need to improve though, as I’m not particularly happy with many of the photos I took yesterday. I’m still getting used to the new camera and have read that the Leica auto white balance isn’t particularly good, but I’ve also not used the 70-200 much up until now.

Llangennech have been playing in the WRU Premiership since the league structure was changed and they got off to a great start yesterday against Cross Keys. I’ve been down watching them a few times in the last two years and the level of rugby is outstanding.

I can’t write this without mentioning the tribute and minutes’s silence for Graham Davies before the game. I’ve known Graham since I was a child and he was one of the leading figures within the club, My thoughts are with his children and family during this difficult time.
